If you use zSecure you have met CARLa by now. She’s the main programming language used with IBM’s zSecure suite of tools and solutions for reporting, auditing, alerting, and automation. This language is sophisticated and can be used to generate your own custom reports, displays, emails, XML, and actions like RACF, TSO, Unix, and IDCAMS commands, and WTO, and UNIXsystem log messages. But there’s more –and Tom our resident CARLa expert, is going to share some not so well-know functions you might find useful in your day-to-day job.

Speaker: Tom Zeehandelaar

zSecure developer/ Senior Technical Enablement SpecialistTom is based in Delft (Netherlands) and has over three decades of z/OS security experience —including designing and running dozens of security training classes. We are honored that he’s willing to share some not so well known zSecure/CARLa features and functions.
