To start off the day, Jethsibeth Palencia and Kevin Breitenother will kick-off the session with an introduction to two of the newest mainframes in the IBM Z family – IBM z14 Model ZR1 and LinuxONE Rockhopper II, announced on April 10^th, 2018. They feature full systems redesign and cutting-edge industry leading security to the platform. With IBM z14, you can rapidly develop and deliver high-quality services deployed on a trusted infrastructure that is flexible, efficient, and resilient, and includes enhanced security features all in a standard 19” rack.

Our next topic will be Container Pricing for IBM Z – a groundbreaking new software pricing alternative to traditional capacity-based metrics. It combines flexible deployment options with competitive economics that are directly relevant to those solutions. z/OS Offering Manager, Scott Englemen will discuss this new pricing approach and the types of solutions that benefit from it.

In our final presentation of the day, IBM Cloud Private Offering Manager, Kavita Sehgal will discuss the most secure cloud, IBM Cloud Private. In this presentation Kavita will discuss exciting new announcements in IBM Cloud Private, explain and demonstrate its capabilities on Z, as well as discuss the road-map of ICP from his perspective.
