Overview

This session will cover the main enhancements in CICS Security relating to diagnosis, compliance and management of CICS regions.  Presenting this session is Lewis James from the Hursley Lab UK at the heart of the CICS TS Development team.

The session will cover enhancements introduced in CICS TS for z/OS version 6.1 released in June 2022. Topics such as Security Request Recording, Compliance Data Collection, TLS 1.3, CICS Region Tagging and much more will be covered. This is designed to be a deep dive into CICS TS for z/OS Security in 6.1 and how customers can leverage these new enhancements to aid in diagnosis of security problems  and more.
