There have been many developments in the IBM Z world, and we would like to highlight some of the most exciting topics.
Our first speaker, Mitchell Bride, will kick off the session with an IBM Z Hardware Update. This session will highlight new functions and features that are important to consider when configuring the next generation of IBM Z hardware.
Next, Todd Havekost will be speaking on IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS.This session will be a live demonstration showing how the powerful capabilities of IntelliMagic Vision bring enhanced visibility to metrics across the Z platform to enhance performance and availability at your site. The presentation will be organized around types of capabilities that enable you to derive actionable insights from your SMF data demonstrated through actual use cases.
We will then have Kekahu Aluli introduce IBM Z Operations Unite. IBM Z Operations Unite simplifies mainframe operations by unifying workflows, prioritizing events and assessing business impact. It aggregates, correlates and contextualizes events and data to help teams make faster, more confident decisions – maximizing resiliency and reducing downtime within a single, streamlined solution.
Finally, Rafael Nunes Martins will show us how to leverage generative AI to simplify and optimize the way developers, operators, and systems programmers interact and manage the IBM Z platform with IBM watsonx Assistant for Z. This conversational AI assistant provides accurate answers to your questions and its integrated automation provides instructions to perform tasks. It not only enhances your learning experience but also guides you take actions to resolve issues.
