The objective of this session is to demonstrate through hands-on workshops, the power of collaborative development and delivery enabled by the Enterprise DevOps solutions including IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z. Application teams can learn how they can quickly discover, understand and modernize their application portfolio using a modern interface and a standardized process. Production teams can learn how they can reuse, extend and automate their existing build and deployment solutions for enterprise applications..
Learn to maximize the capabilities of your Mainframe through IBM DevOps
- Understand, Refactor, and transform your code from Cobol to Java (WCA4Z)
- Integrated application development and problem analysis (ADFz)
- Managing your source code using modern technology (including Git)
- Building automation (Dependency Based Build DBB) for COBOL or PL/I without a specific source code manager but using a pipeline automation tool (including Jenkins)
- Application deployments automation to many environments (UrbanCode Deploy UCD)
