Audience:
This session is primarily designed for Architects, Technical Specialists, Development Managers and Developers. Non-technical attendees with exposure to mainframe software application development processes are also welcome, though some MVS or z/OS experience is assumed.
Objective:
The objective of this session is to present, and demonstrate through hands-on lab exercises, the power of collaborative development and delivery enabled by the IBM DevOps for z Systems solutions. Our goals for this session are to:
- Show application teams how they can quickly discover, understand and modernize their application portfolio in a managed fashion using a modern interface and standardized processes.
- Show production teams how they can re-use, extend and automate their existing build and deployment solutions for enterprise applications.
- Demonstrate the real-time collaboration and communication infrastructure available to global teams to co-produce and deliver timely, modern solutions.
- Enable IT executives to view, in real-time, project / team and application health metrics across the enterprise.
