Elton de Souza IBM Cloud on LinuxONE Chief Architect
Mr. de Souza is the Chief Architect for Cloud Native Client Success on IBM LinuxONE. Elton is the leading subject matter expert in the LinuxONE group at IBM on cloud native technology including Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Mesosphere, Cloud Foundry and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCE, IBM Cloud). Elton works with IBM’s largest clients World-Wide in the financial, insurance, retail, automotive, telco and government space to develop greenfield hybrid cloud applications with a focus on security, performance and resiliency built on open-source technology. Elton is also a seasoned conference speaker with sessions at LinuxCon, KubeCon, SIBOS, Interconnect, THINK and at universities (University of Toronto, Stanford/UCSC etc.) .
Esther Kim IBM Blockchain NA Sector Head & Strategic Alliances Hybrid Cloud Integration Division
Ms. Kim is currently the head of IBM Blockchain North America cross industry solutions. She is responsible for go to market and sales execution leading the extended Hybrid Cloud Integration sales community. In the recent past, she had served over 5 years in the Canadian and global markets consulting financial institutions on digital transformation journeys leveraging emerging technologies (mobile, APIe, AI, IoT, and now Blockchain).Additionally, she serves as the IBM Blockchain global alliance leader for SecureKey Technologies (Blockchain digital identity), alongside Samsung and KPMG for strategic partner-led networks. Ms. Kim joined IBM 25 years ago and worked in her earlier years in various units including IBM’s PC Technical Support Centre, Banking Business Unit, Software Channels as a Systems Engineer and Software/Cloud sales. She covered the major markets including the Caribbean region, Government, Retail, Telco and Manufacturing in Canada. She spent a total of 17 years of her career focused on the financial services sector with both business and IT executive sponsors in a consultative approach to align customers’ requirements and roadmap with solutions that provide competitive advantage, risk mitigation, lower cost of operations and potentially new revenue models. Ms. Kim is a certified member of the IBM Faculty Academy. She has completed the IBM Executive Business Management program co-sponsored by both Harvard and Boston Universities. She holds a bachelor’s degree of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
Terry Ginther IBM Data Serving SME, LinuxONE Sales
Mr. Ginther is the Worldwide Data Serving Subject Matter Expert for IBM’s LinuxONE platform. Terry works with IBM Teams, Partners and Customers around the world to deliver cost effective Cloud, Hybrid and On-Prem data related solutions utilizing the LinuxONE platform. Terry works with commercial products including Oracle and DB2 as well as Open Source technologies such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Previous to IBM, Terry worked at Oracle and other technology vendors & resellers where he held various sales-related and technical positions stretching over 25 years.
Srirama Krishnakumar Senior IT Management Consultant – IBM IT Economics Practice
Mr. Krishnakumar is a Senior IT Management Consultant with the IBM IT Economics Team. His current focus includes helping customers with their IT strategy around on-prem, cloud, and blockchain networks. Sri has over 2 decades’ experience in the IT industry. He has held various technical, architectural, product management and managerial roles at IBM, Microsoft and Amazon. He is passionate about solving customer problems and helps them in making the financially strategic IT decisions. Sri has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Masters in Computer Eng from Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
