We will hear about the latest developments in IBM Z Hardware, Security and Management

We are pleased to  start the session with Monte Bauman, IBM Z Champion.  He will introduce us to the IBM z15 T02 and LinuxONE III LT2 – the latest generation of IBM Z hardware.  First, Monte will discuss the z15 T02.  Find out how and why the T02 improves not only performance and throughput, but also improves quality of service with new capabilities addressing resilience and security and data privacy.  Then, he will provide a technical update on the LinuxONE III LT2.

Next, we are delighted to have Michael Jordan walk us through one of IBM’s newest developments in data protection.  IBM Z Data Privacy Passports (DPP) is the new standard for data-centric security solutions for data to play an active role in its own protection. IBM z15 DPP is designed for trust and compliance as it provides protection and enforcement for Z data ON and OFF the platform.

Ever have the need to automate your mainframe z/OS processes? Ever wonder if Ansible supports automation on z/OS? Well we have great news, IBM and Red Hat have partnered together to bring Ansible support to z/OS in order to control z/OS instances as a managed node. The power and flexibility of Ansible combined with z/OS will open up possibilities to perform z/OS subsystem provisioning, deployment, CI/CD pipelines, multi-system orchestration and much more!  This session will include examples and demos on how to get started with your Ansible automation journey on z/OS.
