CICS Insight Series Event – z/OS Connect and CICS – A Closer Look

Take a deeper look into how z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (v3.0.x) works with CICS

Overview

IBM z/OS Connect EE is an IBM product which provides access to CICS programs from RESTful clients and provides access to remote RESTful APIs from CICS programs, all with out the need to write new code. In this session you will learn how to use z/OS Connect and RESTful APIS  in the new world of Cloud and Mobile applications.

This two-part exploration will build on previous z/OS Connect discussions and provide a deeper exploration of various capabilities.
Topics for the first session will include use of the tooling, connectivity options. The second session will cover propagating security credentials to CICS and high availability configurations to and from CICS regions and z/OS Connect servers.
