Automating CICS management with Ansible

Overview

Ansible is an automation platform by Red Hat which has huge popularity in the software engineering community. In this session, we’ll cover an introduction to Ansible and its relevance to IBM Z. We’ll look at the the tools in the Ansible ecosystem for working with IBM Z, and CICS, and get hands-on with a few Ansible automation examples. We’ll be covering the ibm_zos_coreand ibm_zos_cicsRed Hat Certified Ansible collections.

CICS application developers, CICS systems programmers, security administrators, architects/leads, and managers.
