Our keynote Executive Speaker for the event is Mike Perera. Mike is currently the Vice President, z Systems Software, IBM Systems Unit, responsible for z Systems Software offering management, development & support. He’ll be sharing the exciting news around the latest IBM Z14 and its new features that will transform and plateau your businesses further into the digital era.

After a break, we’ll have Elton Souza from the IBM Z innovation lab to bring us the latest update with a demo on the IBM Cloud Private solution, which leverages Docker and Kubernetes across platforms, including IBM Z.

Our next speaker, Steve Fowlkes will discuss the new features and enhanced capabilities of CICS TS V5.4. He’ll share the benefits of how this latest version can enable your development teams to create mixed language applications, while allowing operational teams to manage these applications from a single point of control.

Lastly, IBM Distinguished Engineer, Mythili Venkatakrishnan, will discuss use cases for IBM Z Analytics. A wealth of technologies provide advanced analytics capabilities for the IBM z Systems platform, but how can these capabilities be put to productive use by z Systems-using organizations? This session is aimed at answering that question. Attendees will hear about use cases that illustrate value of in-transaction analytics for real-time business insight as well as Apache Spark for z/OS to analyze structured and unstructured data with a federated approach.
