James is responsible for Go (or Golang) and Java on z/OS. He is based in Markham, Canada and has been with IBM for 20 years. Prior to his current position, James was offering manager in the Data and AI organization leading offering delivery of SaaS products. He also held a number of leadership positions in acquisition integration and e-Commerce development areas as a release manager, development manager, solution architect and consultant. |

Sean is a Developer, tester, and architect for IBM Z Java Security and Legacy Services. Based out of the US IBM Poughkeepsie site in New York. Sean has been with IBM for 7 years. Sean’s tenure has been entirely in the security sector of IBM starting in RACF taking part in development and test of MFA. In his current role on the Z Java Securityteam has played a role in the deployment and servicing of security providers such as IBMJCECCA, ZERTJSSE, IBMJCEHybrid on zSystems and Java versions 7, 8, and 11 for IBM.

Gary Picher |
Gary Picher has worked at IBM for 20 years, with 19 of those years in the WebSphere Application Server organization. He is currently the WebSphere Security Architect, responsible for both the security of the application server itself, as well as ensuring that customers have all the functionality and guidance they need to secure their own installations and applications. Prior to that, Gary spent 3 years as the WebSphere Release Architect, where he moved WebSphere Liberty from a quarterly to 4-week delivery cycle to align better with modern DevOps practices. Gary has also spent a decade as the team lead for the z/OS runtime component of WebSphere, and several years on the WebSphere Integration Test team. |
