We are thrilled to announce an in-person IBM Z Customer Council in King of Prussia, PA

There have been many developments in the IBM Z world, and we would like to highlight some of the most exciting topics in modernization across the platform.

To kick off our day, Isabella Reyes will provide an overview on how IBM watsonx Assistant for Z is leveraging generative artificial intelligence (AI) to help clients transform the way IBM Z users of all experience levels engage with and manage the platform. 

Next, Keziah Knopp will provide a brief overview of AI in Db2 for z/OS, highlighting its existing capabilities and explaining how IBM’s Db2ZAI offering can further enhance SQL optimization and system performance. Db2 version 13 also introduces several unique enhancements that incorporate AI into database performance and data access. This session will guide you through taking advantage of the AI features in your Db2 environment.

To continue, Josh Steen will dive into IBM Threat Detection for z/OS, showcasing how AI can help identify potential insider threats and cyberattacks in real time. Discover how this solution enhances your security posture by bridging traditional threat detection with modern data resiliency and recovery strategies—helping you respond faster and more effectively to potential risks in your z/OS environment.   

After lunch, Ray Newsom will close out our day with a presentation on IBM’s zNext Platform. The AI revolution is here!
