Summary

This webcast looks at some of the most recent enhancements delivered in OMEGAMON XE for Db2 PE for z/OS (OMPE) that solve availability, usability, cost and modernization.  Learn how the new Configuration Manager can make setting up your Db2 monitoring environment easy, reduce errors and use of system resources, whether you use the entire suite of OMEGAMON monitoring products or just OMEGAMON XE for Db2 PE.   Configuration Manager will save you time and money for both existing and new installations.  This session will step you thru usage examples.

We will also cover the new AI infused adaptive threshold feature in OMPE. You can take advantage of performance monitoring that learns and adapts as your system changes.  This feature eliminates “guesswork” of creating and identifying each Db2 thread group manually.  It reduces false positives by investigating threads that are out of range.  It alerts possible serious performance issues before they occur.     We’ll demonstrate this feature, including recent early customer results.

Join this session to get the latest details on ground-breaking new technology that will change the way you monitor your Db2 for z/OS environment to save time, money and resources.
