IBM invented Batch many years ago. Like everything else Batch has evolved. JAVA Batch has been around for some time and gone through many different variations. We will provide an update on the latest JAVA Batch technologies. We will talk about what we see customer doing in this growing space.

Presenter – David Follis – WebSphere Application Server on z/OS and Java Batch Architect
Dave is both the WAS on z/OS and JAVA Batch Architect. Dave has worked on the WebSphere Application Server from the very early days. Dave was key in developing WebSphere capabilities that exploit the z/OS qualities of service.
