-
June 5, 2018 - June 8, 2018
8:30 AM EDT - 5:00 PM EDT
You’re invited to join us for the z/VM Single System Image Installation and Configuration Workshop at the IBM Denver Office at 4700 S. Syracuse St. Ste. 533, Denver, CO. 80237. This “No Fee” hands-on intensive workshop focuses on building the z/VM system programming skills necessary to install a two node Single System Image (SSI) cluster and configure the cluster for a Linux for IBM Z workload.
There are no prerequisites for this workshop. While participants will install Linux for IBM Z and prepare the installed system for cloning, Linux is not the primary focus of this workshop. At the end of the workshop participants will have a two node z/VM SSI cluster that has been configured for production use along with a base Linux system and two clones. Customers will be able to use the new “Live Guest Relocation” to move Linux virtual machines between members of their cluster. Participants will also gain experience servicing, and monitoring the performance of their SSI cluster.
