To present this month’s topic, we have Zvi Weiss and Ed Steele:

Zvi attended Yeshiva College (B.S.) and NYU (M.S.). He has over 40 years of experience, having worked at Bell Telephone Laboratories (Member of Technical Staff), Electronic Trading Services (which operated the Cincinnati Stock Exchange), BTSI and ADP Brokerage Services (front-office and back-office stock processing), and IBM. At IBM, Zvi has worked with IBM Z® products used for developing and maintaining programs, including IDz, zD&T, RAA, and IBM AD.

Ed is a Client Technical Specialist with 30 years in the IT profession and over 14 years with IBM. During his IT tenure, he worked as a software developer, system administrator, architect, team leader, and manager. Ed has worked with many Fortune 1,000 companies, utilities, federal government, state government, and universities to provide technical leadership, guidance, and enablement. His current focus is DevOps and enterprise modernization technologies. He has extensive background in IBM Z®, distributed systems, and integration technologies.
